What is OSIsoft and who is it for?
Osisoft is a leading global provider of a system for the long-term archiving of production data. With the large variety of interfaces and connectors, there is almost no data source that cannot be easily connected to the PI Historian. Ideally, the system is scalable and can therefore be used in both small and large companies.
OSIsoft originally comes from the oil and gas industry, but is now one of the market leaders in many sectors when it comes to data historisation. As it is a validated system, it is also widely used in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors in which CTE operates.
