Industrial process automation: practical experience

"100% compliance and efficiency"

Three questions for Alexander Frei, Head of Compliance at nimeg ag / nimeg GU ag, about his experiences with our standardized automation concept.

What convinced you to incorporate our standardized automation concept?

As an engineering service provider in the regulated environment, we have been working with CTE for a number of years and are therefore familiar with their efforts in training and technical development. For one of our projects as a general contractor, we wanted to rely on a tried-and-tested collaboration and an efficient and sustainable automation solution. Your standardized concept is just right for this.

What are the advantages over individual solutions?

The biggest advantage is certainly the high level of flexibility that the concept offers for complex process requirements. This significantly reduces the change effort in all project phases. Above all, the standardization of the tests makes commissioning the system much more efficient. The clear procedures make the test results more transparent and easier to understand. In addition, standardization means that changes can be planned and implemented quickly, which helps us to guarantee consistently high quality, which is essential in our environment.

So in a regulated environment?

Exactly. 100% GMP compliance is essential. In a regulated environment where strict processes are a must, CTE's automation standard enabled us to fully comply with all regulatory requirements.
