Secure OT Infrastructure for GETEC PARK.STEIN
When GETEC took over operations at the Rheintal Life Science Park in Stein, it had to integrate the existing buildings and systems into a new operational structure. At that time, there was no dedicated OT infrastructure in place for the network, servers, backup, remote access, and monitoring. CTE planned and implemented a secure and scalable foundation for the site’s future operations.
Mandate
The goal was to establish an independent OT infrastructure that would enable GETEC to reliably operate its existing and future building and site services.

Procedure
CTE developed the network and system architecture for the site. This included network segmentation and security, a high-availability server platform, and solutions for backup and recovery, secure remote access, and monitoring.
In addition to planning and design, CTE also handled procurement, preconfiguration, testing, commissioning, and documentation. The infrastructure was built in a modular and scalable manner so that additional buildings and services can be integrated in phases.
Documentation and Qualification were also part of the project. The implementation takes into account requirements from the GMP environment and is based on IEC 62443.
Result
GETEC now has a secure, segmented, and documented OT infrastructure that serves as the foundation for its operations and the gradual expansion of additional building and site services. A highly available platform provides key OT-related applications and includes, among other things, backup and recovery, secure remote access, and monitoring.
CTE continues to provide support, maintenance, and lifecycle management for the site even after the handover.
