Into the future of mobility with a secure OT infrastructure

Reliability, safety and availability: these values are at the heart of our work - and at the heart of Swiss rail transport. ControlTech Engineering AG (CTE) has over 30 years of experience in precisely these disciplines - and would like to contribute this expertise even more to the rail and mobility industry in the future.

As a new member of Swissrail, we look forward to exchanging ideas, working together - and helping to shape the future of mobility together with the industry.

Technological expertise for safety-critical industries

CTE, based in Liestal near Basel, specializes in the automation of production facilities and high-availability IT and OT infrastructures for regulated industries. Our 90 employees combine expertise in automation, data management and industrial IT with a deep understanding of the special requirements of safety-critical industries.

Working with companies such as BLT and SBB has given us valuable insights into the specific requirements of the railroad world. At the same time, we have been able to build up a wealth of experience in other regulated industries. "We see this "cross-industry" view of challenges such as availability, safety and regulation as real added value for Swissrail members," says CEO Dominic Brunner.

CTE planned and implemented a network infrastructure for BLT to reliably monitor and control rail traffic with a modern telecontrol system.
Experienced in customer projects for rail and rail transportation: Our IT System Engineers Luc Weishar (l.) and Pedro Monteiro.

Secure network infrastructure - tried and tested and future-proof

A current focus: the implementation of secure OT basic infrastructures - with tried-and-tested modular systems, such as those we successfully use at BLT. Added to this is our experience with security solutions: We support transport companies in achieving the minimum ICT standards recommended by the federal government - and thus demonstrably fulfilling their duty of care towards authorities and stakeholders.

We are convinced that a stable and secure basic digital infrastructure is the key to the resilient rail industry of tomorrow. We are happy to contribute our knowledge and look forward to exchanging ideas.
