Accountant

Your area of responsibility

  • You are responsible for the management of general ledgers and subledgers , including the posting of vendor and debtor invoices as well as dunning

  • You are responsible for asset accounting and posting the monthly payroll

  • Execution and monitoring of payment transactions and maintenance of liquidity planning

  • Checking, assigning accounts and posting employee expenses

  • You are responsible for the preparation of VAT statements (support possible)

  • You prepare the annual financial statements according to the Swiss Code of Obligations

  • Collaboration in the annual budget planning

  • You prepare evaluations and analyses for the attention of the management

  • Deputy and HR Support

  • You are the direct contact person for trustees, banks and auditors

Your profile

  • Completed further training in the field of finance (federal certificate in finance and accounting or an equivalent degree)

  • Several years of practical experience in the financial accounting of an SME

  • Experience in the field of Swiss VAT accounting

  • Good user knowledge of Sage (or a similar accounting system) and confident handling of common MS Office applications

  • Very good analytical skills

  • Solution-oriented thinking, independent way of working

  • Organisational skills, ability to work under pressure and  in a team

  • High level of personal responsibility and self-control of the tasks carried out

  • Loyalty

  • Very good knowledge of German, knowledge of English is an advantage
